Terms & Conditions

How DriveBooked works commercially, what our fees cover, and what they do not.

Draft for review. This document is a working draft written to reflect how DriveBooked operates. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and must be checked and approved before the site goes live.

1. Who we are and what we do

DriveBooked is a booking and matching service. We are not a driving school and we do not deliver driving tuition. Driving tuition is delivered by independent driving instructors who contract directly with you.

2. Our fees

For the Find an Instructor service, DriveBooked charges a Booking Agent Fee of £49. For an intensive course, DriveBooked charges a Course Management Fee of £149. These fees are paid to DriveBooked for arranging and managing your booking.

Neither fee includes any driving tuition. Tuition is charged separately at £45 per hour and is paid directly to your independent instructor.

3. Availability of instructors

Paying a DriveBooked fee makes your booking available to suitable instructors. It does not guarantee that an instructor will accept your booking. A booking is confirmed only once an instructor has accepted it.

4. Your relationship with your instructor

Once an instructor accepts your booking, lesson scheduling, pickup arrangements, conduct of tuition and payment for tuition are matters between you and that instructor, under their own terms of business.

5. Intensive courses and your practical test

An intensive course requires you to already hold a booked practical driving test. Courses are scheduled backwards from your test date, subject to instructor availability. DriveBooked does not book, move or influence your DVSA practical test.

6. Your information

Your contact details and full address are not shown to instructors before a booking is accepted. Once accepted, your details are shared with the accepting instructor so tuition can be arranged.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Please see our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the version published on this page at the time you make a booking.

9. Contacting us
