Booking an instructor, step by step

   Tell us about your tuition

   Choose a 5–40 hour package, or an intensive course if you already have a practical test booked. Share your test details if you have them.

   Choose transmission and package

   Manual or automatic, and how many hours you want. Every price is shown as tuition and DriveBooked fee separately.

3. 3

   Pay the DriveBooked fee

   £49 Booking Agent Fee, or £149 Course Management Fee for an intensive. This is paid to DriveBooked and does not include tuition.

4. 4

   We make your booking available

   Once your fee is paid, your booking is released to suitable instructors based on your area, test centre and transmission.

5. 5

   An instructor accepts

   The first suitable instructor to accept takes your booking. Until then, nothing is confirmed.

6. 6

   You exchange contact details

   You receive your instructor's name, phone, email, ADI/PDI status, vehicle and transmission. They receive your contact and pickup details.

7. 7

   Arrange your lessons

   You and your instructor agree dates, times and pickup points directly between yourselves.

8. 8

   Complete your tuition and test

   Tuition is paid to your instructor at £45 per hour, under their own terms.

DriveBooked fees are paid to DriveBooked for arranging and managing your booking. Driving tuition is charged separately at £45 per hour and paid directly to your independent instructor.
