What is not included
- Your DVSA theory test and practical test fees — booked and paid by you, with the DVSA.
- Any tuition beyond the hours you book — extra hours are agreed directly with your instructor.
- Use of a car for your test, unless your instructor agrees that separately with you.
DriveBooked fees are paid to DriveBooked for arranging and managing your booking. Driving tuition is charged separately at £45 per hour and paid directly to your independent instructor.

The DriveBooked fee pays for arranging and managing your booking: taking your requirements, running the matching process across verified independent instructors, releasing the booking to suitable instructors, and handling the booking record, notifications and refund rules. It is £49 for Find an Instructor and £149 for an intensive course. It does not pay for any driving tuition.
No. Tuition is charged separately at £45 per hour and is paid directly to the independent instructor who accepts your booking. DriveBooked never combines the two into one headline price, and DriveBooked does not take a cut of the hourly tuition rate.
Your total is the DriveBooked fee plus your chosen hours of tuition. For example, 10 hours with Find an Instructor is £49 to DriveBooked plus £450 of tuition paid to your instructor. A 5-day intensive is £149 to DriveBooked plus £1,125 of tuition paid to your instructor.
Payment arrangements for tuition are agreed directly between you and your instructor once they have accepted your booking and their contact details are released to you. DriveBooked does not collect, hold or process tuition payments.
No. The DVSA practical test is booked and paid for by you, directly with the DVSA. DriveBooked is not the DVSA and is not affiliated with it.
The published matching windows and the Cancellation & Refund Policy apply. If we cannot match you within the published window, the refund rules in that policy determine what is refunded — read the policy in full before booking.
